SAM MEDILE, CLASS OF 1980

Sam Medile is a Terp, class of 1980. He was a scholarship football athlete and today, he is a scholarship donor.

He is an accomplished entrepreneur, with over 30 years of business experience. Sam is passionate about mentoring entrepreneurs (he’s a Dingman Angel at Smith) and he is a judge for the Smith School’s Cupid’s Cup as well as a sponsor.

Sam and his wife Gemma, are proud parents of three wonderful children.

You can find Sam at Bagels ‘n Grinds most mornings, grabbing breakfast, some coffee, and having fun talking to students.

Sam has over 30 years of business experience.

He owned several restaurants, simultaneously ran a tourism firm in Annapolis, and co-founded Towne Park. Today, Towne Park has become the nation’s premier provider of hotel and hospital parking services with over $250 million per year in sales and over 12,000 employees in over 45 cities.

Now, his newest venture is Off Campus Parking.

Sam is passionate about being a TERP, giving back, and mentoring entrepreneurs.

He donates to The George and Anna Manis Legacy Lacrosse Scholarship.

As a Dingman Angel, he mentors student entrepreneurs. He is a judge and prize sponsor for the Smith School’s Cupid’s Cup.
